Transfer Together Program

Dual Enrollment Degrees at John Jay

Are you pursuing a STEM associates degree at a participating Community College and plan to earn Bachelor's degree? Do you want a seamless transition from your two-year program to a four-year program and to graduate on time? If so, CUNY Justice Academy (CJA) is the right program for you.

The CJA is a partnership between CUNY community colleges and John Jay College designed to help you make the transition to a baccalaureate degree. CJA students who complete their associate degree at a participating institution can transfer to John Jay and complete their bachelor’s degree in forensic science (FOS), cell & molecular biology (CMB), toxicology (TOX), computer science (CSIS) or applied mathematics.

The Program for Research Initiatives in Science & Math at John Jay provides CJA students majoring in STEM at CUNY Community Colleges with special science outings and lectures, behind-the-scenes programming and presentations and opportunities to engage in research at John Jay or a CJA partner. These opportunities are designed to get you immersed in your respective STEM fields while allowing you to interact with your future professors and peers at John Jay.

Participating CJA Community Colleges are:

  • Hostos Community College
  • Bronx Community College
  • Borough of Manhattan Community College
  • Kingsborough Community College
  • La Guardia Community College
