Future Bloodhounds,

Welcome to John Jay College of Criminal Justice!

Congratulations on your admission to John Jay College! We are pleased that you have chosen to become a part of the Bloodhound family.  New Student Orientation is designed to assist you and your family in making a smooth transition to college. Our goal to help you succeed as a Bloodhound.

New Student Orientation (NSO) is an important experience for all new students, regardless of academic affiliation or major.  At NSO, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with campus resources and make connections with current students, faculty, and staff before beginning classes.  Because we know that participation in NSO can make a significant difference in your experiences as a John Jay student, all new students are expected to attend.

The mission of Student Transition Programs is to welcome, prepare, and engage new students and their families in their transition to John Jay College of Criminal Justice.  We are dedicated to still providing you an intentional and engaging experience.  You will have an opportunity to learn about tools and resources available to you as a John Jay student, tips and strategies to best navigate the campus, and connect with other new students and student leaders.
