*A cohort of 50 students will be selected from the pool of eligible applicants.

About the TTP Residency @ John Jay College

  • A semester-long program designed to deliver qualified tech talent to local employers and short-term professional opportunities to competitive NYC undergraduates.
  • Will help upper-level Computer Science and Information Security majors gain the technical and professional skills they need to land and succeed in top-tier tech roles after graduation, including as software developers, software engineers, web developers, mobile engineers, cybersecurity and information security professionals, and earn at least $65,000 per year.
  • Part of a broader portfolio of new and expanded programs developed by the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline and designed together with employer partners to equip New Yorkers with 21st century skills and deliver quality talent for employers. 
  • The TTP Program in conjunction with the Computer Science & Mathematics Department will host technical and professional workshops throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. Attendance is required for consideration for the program as these workshops will build necessary skills that you will utilize in the bootcamp and internship environments. Don't hesitate to reach out to the team with questions.

Launched by Mayor Bill de Blasio in 2014, the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline is the City's tech Industry Partnership, designed to support the inclusive growth of the NYC tech sector by delivering quality jobs for New Yorkers and qualified talent for the City’s businesses.
