About Us

The department faculty includes the editor of the Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency. The Department has responsibility for the Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.  The BA is designed to equip students with the analytical tools to analyze and critique the criminal justice system.  Students will explore the nature and causes of crime, criminal justice institutions, and the law and legal systems.  The Department maintains a close relationship with the master’s and doctoral criminal justice programs, and encourages interaction among the students in criminal justice programs at all levels.
