Should you feel comfortable making a report, there are several ways to do so.

Sexual misconduct may be reported to the following individuals:

Gabriela Leal, Director of Compliance & Diversity, Haaren Hall Room 623, 646- 557-4674,  gleal@jjay.cuny.edu

Jordana Shenkman, Deputy Director of Compliance & Diversity, Haaren Hall Room 622, 646-557-4409, jshenkman@jjay.cuny.edu

Diego Redondo, Public Safety Director, 212-237-8521, dredondo@jjay.cuny.edu

Danielle Officer, Interim AVP and Dean of Students, 212-237-8211, dofficer@jjay.cuny.edu

Oswald Fraser, AVP of Administration, 212 237-8932, ofraser@jjay.cuny.edu

You may also fill out the CUNY Sexual Misconduct Form and submit it to any of the individuals outlined above.

Students, employees and other community members may choose to report Sexual Misconduct to local law enforcement and/or state police (“outside law enforcement”). However, CUNY does not require that a complainant report Sexual Misconduct to outside law enforcement; nor will CUNY do so without the complainant’s agreement, except in exceptional circumstances. The college may report Sexual Misconduct to outside law enforcement without the complainant’s consent when the college determines that the respondent poses a serious continuing threat to the physical safety of the complainant or another person. If a student, employee or other community member chooses to report Sexual Misconduct to outside law enforcement, CUNY will provide assistance. Campus Public Safety officers can also assist the complainant with reporting allegations both on and off-campus and in obtaining immediate medical attention and other services

Retaliation or threatening to retaliate against an individual for reporting Sexual Misconduct, assisting someone to report Sexual Misconduct, opposing an act or policy believed to constitute Sexual Misconduct, or participating (or refusing to participate) in an investigation is prohibited and will not be tolerated at the College.
