Faculty and affiliated centers at John Jay College of Criminal Justice registered an impressive 2016-17 academic year, posting significant figures in external funding ($20.3m) and breaking records for the fourth year in a row in scholarly productivity (up 11% to 2.1 works per faculty). The Office for the Advancement of Research set a fifth year of record-breaking internal funding distributions through our competitive grant-making programs (up 6% to $248k). In addition, the Office is proud to announce the official incorporation of the new Office of Student Research, a new category of data and profiles represented on pages 8-9 of the report.
