John Jay Ranked 10th in Best Bang for the Buck & Social Mobility

John Jay College of Criminal Justice was ranked #10 in the Northeast in America’s Best Bang for the Buck Colleges by Washington Monthly, which measures how well colleges help low and moderate-income students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices. 

 

John Jay College was also ranked #10 in the nation for promoting economic mobility by public policy think tank Third Way. The study ranks the nation’s four-year colleges based on the proportion of students receiving Pell grants, the cost of attendance, and students’ expected earnings after graduation.

 

A federally-designated Minority-Serving and Hispanic-Serving Institution, these rankings demonstrate John Jay’s ability to provide students from low income and underserved populations with a solid return on their investment by helping them ascend to the middle class and beyond.
