Bio

Victor grew up and received his education in France. After having pursued graduate studies in philosophy and art history in Paris, he completed his doctoral degree in history of science at the University of Strasbourg. He moved to the United States in 2016 and lived in Los Angeles and Chicago before coming to New York. His research focuses primarily on the history of nineteenth-century paleontology. Victor also researches and writes about dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals in popular culture, such as in movies, comics, and paintings. He teaches courses on the history of science, the history of forensic science, trial history, and ideas of justice.
