Adrian Bordoni has been an educator for over 25 years working as a high school teacher, school dean and instructor for community groups. He has been a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, for 17 years,  teaching Latinx Studies, Ethnic Studies. In addition, he teaches Criminal Justice and Criminology at Queensborough Community College.

           
Adrian Bordoni has a Bachelor’s in History from Columbia University, a Masters in International Education from Teachers College and a Masters in Criminal Justice from John Jay College.  He is a certified conflict resolution specialist and an Expert Level Certified Gang Specialist from the National Gang Crime Research Center, having presented dozens of conferences and training workshops for law enforcement, community groups, government agencies and students from 2^nd grade to college. 

His volunteer work has included training community members and former offenders in the Alternatives to Violence Project Curriculum; he volunteered as an Auxiliary Police Officer in the Bronx.  In addition, he has worked with elected officials, faith leaders and community based organizations to create conferences, cultural festivals and health fairs. His hobbies include managing political campaigns for community leaders, learning languages and training Cane Corso Mastiffs and German Shepherds.

Professor Bordoni is working on an internationla collboration with CETYS (Mexico) creating workshops for CUNY and Cetys students discussing Violence, Immigration issues and International Crminal Justice-Border related topics.
