Admission to the MA/JD program is based on the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Applicants with undergraduate GPAs lower than 3.0 may be required by the Graduate Admissions Committee to submit GRE or LSAT scores with their applications
- 18 undergraduate credits in the social sciences, including undergraduate statistics
- Personal statement
- Relevant letters of recommendation
In addition to submitting an application to the Office of Admissions at John Jay College, students are also required to submit an application to the Office of Admissions at CUNY School of Law.
Students must be accepted into both programs in order to be a part of the dual-degree program.
