OAR Annual Reports
The ongoing challenges to research communications and scholarship created by the constantly-changing response to the COVID-19 pandemic made maintaining Impact's online presence a smart idea. Moving online has allowed the Office for the Advancement of Research and John Jay College to engage with a broad audience and make the work of our faculty, students, and research centers accessible to all. The 2021 issue features work across a range of disciplines and types, highlighting efforts to cultivate racial equity both on- and off-campus through new initiatives and studies, and scholarship addressing the particular challenges of our day. The publication also shines a light on several new publications and key research metrics that the Office is excited to share.
The Office for the Advancement of Research made the shift away from an annual reporting of research metrics to a more comprehensive, narrative magazine approach in 2018. You can find the back issues of Impact on the website as well. Click on the picture above or visit johnjayimpact.org to browse the magazine. Bookmark the site to ensure access to future stories!
You can also find PDFs of back issues and metrics below. We congratulate our scholars on continuing to make research and academic discourse a vital part of John Jay College's mission of 'Educating for Justice.'
