Xavier Espot Zamora is the eighth Head of Government of the Principality of Andorra. Born in 1979 in Escaldes- Engordany, he holds a degree and a master's degree in law from ESADE and a degree in humanities from Ramon Llull University. He began his political career in November 2011, as Secretary of State for Justice and Home Affairs. In July 2012 he was appointed Minister of Justice and Home Affairs and in 2016 also took over the Social Affairs portfolio.

Prior to initiating his political career, Xavier Espot Zamora served as a judge at the Court of First Instance attached to the Civil Section as well as to the Minor Section. He was previously judicial secretary to the Court of First Instance.
